As a rule, our engineering support is linked to our other services – especially when we design the mounting structures for your PV plant. In such cases you can expect a broader scope of work on our side, so that the project does not stop at “just structural calculations”.
As part of our work on the structures we can, among other things:
prepare a site layout using the specific mounting system selected for your project,
define pile / foundation positions and provide clear guidelines for construction crews,
develop assembly and installation drawings tailored to the needs of the site manager and installation teams,
prepare one consolidated installation manual combining information on structures, modules, DC cabling and other elements – so that the key information is available in a single document.
The objective is to ensure that the people responsible for execution on site have a complete, practical set of information – not a fragmented collection of documents from different suppliers.
In selected cases we can also prepare a more comprehensive PV plant design within the required scope (for example DC-side construction / execution design, in cooperation with local partners).
This type of service is always priced individually, because:
the required scope of work varies significantly between countries,
formal requirements, standards and documentation depth differ from market to market,
the roles of EPC, developer and local design offices are not the same in every project.
At the inquiry stage we jointly define where the responsibility of the local designer ends and where our scope begins (for example: structures, layout, foundation concept, installation guidelines).
On a dedicated subpage you will find an example of how a PV plant construction manual can look from the perspective of structures, layout and on-site work organisation.
