A critical stage of any utility-scale PV plant is the correct foundation of the structures in the ground and their professional installation. The mounting system carries the load of the modules, cabling and balance-of-system components throughout the entire lifetime of the plant.
Since modules typically account for a substantial share of the total project CAPEX, their foundation must be absolutely reliable. The quality of the structures and how they are assembled has a direct impact on a large portion of the technical and economic risk of the project.
Entrusting both the supply of structures and their installation to a single partner (Solvance) provides a number of clear benefits:
Aligned schedule and coordinated deliveries
Production, delivery and installation dates for the structures are agreed directly between the manufacturer and the installer. You receive clear reports and updates instead of mediating between multiple parties.
Controlled schedule risk
If there are shifts on the manufacturing or delivery side, we compensate for them at the installation stage whenever possible – with the objective of protecting the overall completion date, not tylko individual milestones.
Transparent on-site acceptance of structures
The acceptance protocol for delivered structures is prepared by the installation team. Any shortages, discrepancies or claims are handled between the manufacturer and the installer. You focus on the final outcome: a complete and correctly assembled structure.
Trained and familiar installer
You can be confident that the installer has been trained on, and has experience with, the specific mounting system used on your project. This reduces the risk of assembly errors and increases the likelihood that all relevant standards and manufacturer guidelines are followed.
No “passing the blame” between parties
When both the structures and their installation are under our scope, the classic conflict between manufacturer and installer is largely removed. For you, the result matters – and we assume responsibility with that in mind.
Safe design changes during construction
If, during construction, it becomes necessary to modify the foundation concept (for example due to actual soil conditions, shallow bedrock or refusal criteria), any solution is agreed with the structure designer. This way, required modifications do not compromise structural integrity or warranty coverage.
Lower risk of delays on site
Close cooperation between manufacturer and installer – within a single chain of responsibility – makes it easier to resolve on-site issues quickly and limit the risk of delays.
Single project coordinator
On your side you have one main point of contact – a project coordinator who understands the structural system, installation process, logistics and overall schedule. This simplifies communication and speeds up decision-making.
Simplified final acceptance
Final acceptance of structures and installation is carried out against a single responsible party. There is no need to separate protocols and discussions into “product” and “installation service”.
